Goddess Kali The Mother of Creation

Finally I finished my Concept art of The Hindu Goddess Maha Kali.
It was really challenging I have never done a concept like this before where I learned & explored so much. It's been only a year that I started doing character concepts, before that I only used to do portraits. So long way to go & yet to improve my skills.

A little about my idea & the representation of The Goddess Kali The Mother of Creation
The goddess manifests herself in 51 different female forms, Some furious & other kind , gentle.
I chose to show her benign side in my art style. From all the 51 avatars I chose Tripura Sundari which is the most beautiful form of her. The Tripura Sundari temple is situated in the ancient city of Udaipur, Tripura. The temple is set upon a small hillock that resembles the hump of a tortoise.
It is really a common idea that mother kali is the goddess of destruction commonly believed by misunderstanding her mystical appearances.
And we use common phrase like “ Destruction of evil “ instead of saving innocent from evil or fighting evil.
It is to note that she is Not just a slayer of demons and asur. This is a “Myth”, the fact is her sword always rise to protect innocent who ever they may be and she never spare any evil doer who ever he may be.
To restate and understand this think of her as the Calm Peaceful Eternal Dark Void from which the universe born and this brings us to the fact that, she will remain present even after the end of all creation ”, Maa Kali (as Mahakali) is untouched by the processes of creation and destruction being the supreme being but she cares every small thing. she is the center of creation and ending, every thing starts from her and ends in her
